​Local Professionals to Celebrate the Best of Broadway in Carbondale

John & Erin Cabaret Productions to Present “Curtain: A Broadway Cabaret” at the Theater at Trinity Church

CARBONDALE, PA – "Curtain up," wrote lyricist Stephen Sondheim. "Light the Lights!" These lyrics from "Gypsy" are the perfect introduction to the latest evening of song featuring the work of Sondheim and many other composers. Don't miss, “Curtain Up!” at the Theater at Trinity Church, 58 River Street, Carbondale on Saturday, April 25 at 7 p.m.

This celebration of the best of Broadway stars John Baldino and Erin Canedy, and features Jonathan Alunni, Kay McClintock and Miranda Micciche. Rob Misko, who is probably Carbondale’s most well-known and celebrated performer, makes a special appearance performing numbers from is 25+ years on local stages.

“Curtain Up!” includes songs from Broadway and off-Broadway shows including “Les Miserables,” “Gypsy,” “Company,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Annie,” “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” “Hairspray,” “Nunsense,” and “City of Angels.”

"This is what musical theater is made of," says Baldino, Managing Director and Executive Producer. "The songs in this show are the favorites everyone knows and loves. They’re the songs we love to sing."

"We are simply ecstatic to be taking the stage with such an amazing group of people," remarks Canedy, Artistic Director and Producer, about the cast. "The cast members are experienced professionals who blend together in perfect harmony."
