2015 Cabaret Season Announced

CARBONDALE, PA – Fred Ebb said it so well when he penned the lyric, "Life is a cabaret, ol' chum!" in "Cabaret," one of the most musicals for which he and composer John Kander are known. This year John & Erin Cabaret Productions invites you to “Come to the Cabaret” as they present their season in residence at the Theater at Trinity Church, 58 River Street in Carbondale.

The company’s 2015 season is made up of four cabaret shows:

“Love Us or Leave Us: A Cabaret of Broken Dreams” on February 14 at 7 p.m.

“Curtain Up: A Broadway Cabaret of Tony Winners” on April 25 at 7 p.m.

“Tunes from the Tube: 60 Years of Your Favorite TV Theme Songs” on September 12 at 7 p.m.

“Christmas the Cabaret Way: Music, Comedy and Everything Yuletide” on December 12 at 7 p.m.

"We are particularly excited about this season," says Baldino, Managing Director and Executive Producer. "While we’ll be singing a lot of old favorites, we’re bringing quite a bit of new material to the stage.”

"Carbondale is really great to us, and so are the people of the rest of Lackawanna County," remarks Canedy, Artistic Director and Producer. "It’s so nice night out for our loyal audience, and a great experience for first-time visitors to our cabaret."

Baldino and Canedy will lead the cast of each show, supported by member of their cabaret ensemble. Returning this year will be Jonathan Alunni, Miranda Micciche, Courtney Evans and a few others while the ensemble welcomes Ashley Yando-DeFlice to the stage as the company’s newest performer.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now. Each is priced at $11 in advance and $13 at the door. Seating is limited, so advanced tickets are highly recommended. Audience can call the 24-hour toll-free box office at 1-800-838-3006 or visit the online box office at ourcabaret.com.
